Our Team

Basem Mankerious, PT, DPT, has been practicing in outpatient general orthopedics since 2012. He holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University, and is credentialed through the APTA as a clinical instructor.

His treatment combines hands-on manual therapy and targeted exercise with adjunctive options such as shockwave therapy, dry needling, and laser therapy. Basem’s priority is finding what is actually driving a patient’s problem and correcting it, so that relief holds and patients leave with the tools to manage their own symptoms. His clinical interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular rehabilitation, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hip, knee, foot and ankle, shoulder, and spine.

Basem founded Cornerstone Physical Therapy with his wife in 2019 and has cared for patients throughout Fort Worth as an independent, family-owned practice ever since. The clinic was built around unhurried, one-on-one care in a family-friendly setting, rather than the high-volume model common in outpatient therapy.
